Sunday: A List of Things That Are Done
- Mom’s visit: dropped off at the airport after four nights of visiting us and our little girl.
- Dogs Sunday: walked, played with, pooped, sleeping.
- Groceries: ready for the week.
- Dinner: cooked, eaten, cleaned up.
- Diarrhea: (hopefully).
- November. Two weeks until break.
- Thanks have genuinely been given.
- Tree: bought, living room rearranged, tree set-up, ornamented, lit with golden lights.
- Menorah: brought out, candles set up, lit, burned, out. We do our own version of Hanukkah, usually before Hanukkah is celebrated. The glow of candles makes me feel cozy.
- Sleep-deprivation: Not at all done. Very much the present status with a five-month old.
- Baby’s Sunday: happy, silly, walked around in nature, excited, discovering the texture and taste of pears, full of milk, sleepy, cranky, dozing, rested, hungry, full, cranky, pooped, cleaned, bathed, nursed, sleepy, sleeping.
- Trash, recycling, fur swept, dust collected. Leaves swept and dropped into bin.
- Life continues.
