my new collection

Hello Good People,

Another summer and another set of personal essays and poems, collected, edited and formatted into a small book. This ritual has been cathartic and important for me over the last six summers. I hope to continue doing it for a long time. Maybe I’ll eventually synthesize some of the writing into one book of essays and one book of poems. Or maybe not. If writing is a way to check-in on yourself (and it is for me), then it feels good to know I exist.

Here’s my third person description of the book:

Jonah Hall writes personal essays and poems. Themes range from considering the creative act of writing, family, psychology, parenting and teaching to navigating the pain of the past and the humor of the present. Writing as an act of restoration, reflection and coping with human existence.

Check out the link to see the bookstore preview (and/or buy the paperback.)

If you prefer an E-book (PDF), I can send it to directly. $7 via Venmo or PayPal.

Thanks for Reading,

Jonah
